About Føn

Torben has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Føn Energy Services since July 2023, following a brief tenure overseeing the O&G Division. Before joining Føn, he held the position of Vice President of International Operations at Maersk Drilling AS, where he gained extensive experience in various operational and customer-facing roles across the globe. Torben is deeply passionate about the Energy Transition and is committed to driving business growth. He holds a Marine Master's degree from Svendborg International Marine Academy and earned an Executive MBA from the London Business School.

Nikolaj currently servies as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Føn Energy Services. With an extensive background in the wind energy sector, he previously held the role of Director of Offshore Sales, UK & Ireland at Vestas, where he was responsible for managing sales teams and strategies across multiple regions. His expertise spans various areas, including large-scale project sales and commercial strategy in the offshore wind power industry, as demonstrated during his tenure at Siemens Wind Power. Nikolaj holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, and a Master in Commercial Law from The University of Edinburgh.

Extensive experience in major global Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) projects and operations, coupled with a strong background in technology development, asset management and aftermarket services from various positions in GE and Baker Hughes. Holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management.

As the Director of Corporate Development at Føn, Håkon Torgnes is responsible for overseeing a broad array of strategic initiatives, including Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as commercial and tender operations. 

Before his tenure at Føn, Håkon worked in management consulting, with a focus on the offshore energy sector. He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Terje Solheim currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Føn Energy Services. With over three decades of experience in roles such as Engineering Manager and Discipline Leader, his expertise includes project management, structural design, and team coordination in the energy sector. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Stavanger Tekniske Fagskole.

Terje Berg, with over 20 years of leadership in management and sales, has extensive experience in fostering growth and partnerships. Formerly a board member and business owner. In his previous role, he managed international partnerships and led commercial activities, earning a reputation for excellence. Currently, as the Commercial Lead at FØN Energy Services, Terje focuses on driving growth and nurturing client relationships by managing contracts and delivering sustainable solutions that align with client objectives, ensuring success for all parties involved.

Alistair started his career at PwC London, and has since spent many years helping ambitious companies in building robust and scalable finance functions.
In Føn, Alistair currently serves as a Director of Finance and is reponsaible for both day-to-day operations related to this function and longer term development. Alistair holds a MSc in Accounting and Finance from ICAEW in London

Paul started in 2012 as Commercial Manager for C-Ventus.  Paul currently serves as a Sales Director in our wind division and has built up strong and widespread commercial network in the offshore industry. Paul holds a bachelor in Commercial Engineering and formed his experience by fulfilling a variety of roles within different companies in the Marine Industry.

Peter started in 2017 as Commercial Manager for C-Ventus. Peter currently serves as a Project Director in our wind division and manages the day-to-day of our entire portfolio of offshore wind projects across the European market. Peter is a Naval Architect and his previous experience comes from various roles in project engineering, works management and commercial roles in the subsea business.

As the Head of HSEQ at Føn Energy Services, Christina leverages over a decade of experience from top offshore energy firms like Moreld and Interwell. Known for her expert process management and deep industry insights, she plays a pivotal role in driving our commitment to the highest standards in health, safety, environment, and quality. Christina's leadership not only advances our capabilities but also underscores our dedication to stringent HSEQ norms.

As the Head of Workshop at Føn, Mads Hansen oversees all operational aspects of the workshop located in Tananger. 

Mads's workshop experience developed from his start as an industrial mechanic, advancing through the ranks to become the workshop manager. 

He brings 12 years of experience from the offshore industry, primarily in drilling operations, complemented by 6 years in the Norwegian Armed Forces.

Klaus Noack brings over 30 years of leadership experience as a Workshop Manager for prominent companies. As the Head of Productions, he is responsible for overseeing planning, calculations, documentation, and quality control to maintain high standards. Our production at Føn meets critical specifications such as ISO-3834-2, NORSOK, DNV, ASME, and NACE standards, ensuring excellence and reliability in our outputs.

Magnus Aarseth, with over 12 years in the oil and gas industry, has held pivotal roles such as project manager at Baker Hughes, managing complex subsea & tie-in projects. As a department manager, he improved team efficiency and operations. Now, as Project Director at Føn Energy Services, he oversees project execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication, driving strategic decisions and client solutions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from BI.

John holds over 15 years of extensive experience across the heavy industry spectrum, having excelled in engineering, site management, and project management. Additionally, John has demonstrated profound expertise in Operations & Maintenance (O&M), securing multiple leadership roles where he developed and implemented sustainable solutions that align with clients' commercial objectives. John holds a BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Brunel University of London.

Nanna Tollefsen currently holds the position of Executive Director in Aker Horizons ASA. She has been part of the Aker group since 2013, undertaking various roles in finance, active ownership and investments. Previously, she served as CFO at Aker Horizons ASA and as an Investment Manager at Aker ASA. Her experience also includes roles at Akastor ASA, Aker Solutions ASA, and PwC. Tollefsen holds an MSc in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

As the Chief Financial Officer at Akastor ASA, Øyvind brings over a decade of experience in financial management and investment strategy. Prior to his current role, he served as an Investment Manager at both Akastor and Coventa Capital, demonstrating a robust capability in handling complex portfolios across various sectors. His strategic acumen and leadership were also instrumental during his tenure at Storemledem, where he contributed significantly to their financial operations. Øyvind holds a MSc in Financial Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics

Carl-Johan currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Renewables at IKM Group, focusing on initiatives related to the energy transition.

Marius Bøhler is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Investment Manager at Akastor ASA. With a background in corporate finance gained at Arctic Securites, Marius brings experience in M&A and financing. Marius holds a MSc from Università Bocconi and a BSc from the Norwegian School of Economics.

Øystein Stjern is part of the corporate management team at IKM, where he currently holds a position as executive vice president. He has worked with energy over the past decade, while also serving as a politician. Currently, he also holds the position as the deputy mayor in Randaberg municipality. 

Mr Stjern holds a BSc in Mechatronics from the University of Agder and an Executive Master’s of Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Didier de Graaff is the founder and Managing Director of the DISA International group. He has worked at DISA since 2003 in several operational management roles on various large and famous projects world wide alongside his function as a director within DISA. Mr de Graaff has studied Science at HTIGO and became a Commercial diver prior the start of DISA International.
